Greg's worked for advertising agencies in Colorado Springs, Tucson, and Los Angeles as a strategist and creative/copywriter for more than 15 years.
He earned a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the University of Colorado - Boulder in 1997, taught for 6 years at the University of North Florida and Idaho State University, then returned to Tucson to team with Amber and create mindthwack inc.
Greg now teaches Integrated Marketing Communication at Wichita State University and is marketing a recently completed book on creativity.

Amber successfully ran AmberVDesign, an independent design studio in Tucson, Arizona for more than ten years.
Before that, she worked for some of the more successful ad agencies in Tucson, taking on art-director responsibilities at Nordensson, Wettstein, and Taylor ad agencies. Amber has created design work for a number of high-profile companies such as Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Arizona Opera, and AmpliMed, a cancer research organization. Her portfolio also includes work for national players such as Intuit, AlphaGraphics, and IBM.
She holds a B.A. in fine art, and is currently working on an MFA in fine art/painting while working full time at Wichita State University as an art director. Amber's shown her paintings in galleries in the Southwest, the East Coast, and the Midwest.
mindthwack
is a creative foundry, a place where innovative ideas flow unrestricted, to be refined and shaped by strategy later.
