greg stene, ph.d.
strategist/creative director/copywriter

As an assistant and associate professor, Greg taught advertising for 12 years at several universities.

He's worked for advertising agencies in Colorado Springs, Tucson, Los Angeles, and freelanced as a strategist and creative/copywriter for nearly 15 years.

He earned his Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the University of Colorado - Boulder in 1997.

He's also written a book, creatively written, on creativity.

amber vanhatala stene
art director/fine artist

Amber holds an MFA in fine art/painting, a B.A. in fine art, and taught at Northern Arizona University in 2009-10.

She's shown her paintings in galleries nationally, and her work can be seen at amberstene.com.

She successfully ran AmberVDesign, an independent design studio in Tucson, Arizona for more than ten years. Before that, she worked for some of the most successful ad agencies in Tucson, taking on art-director responsibilities at the Nordensson, Wettstein, and Taylor ad agencies. Amber has created design work for a number of high-profile companies such as Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and Arizona Opera, University of Arizona, and AmpliMed, a cancer research organization. Her portfolio also includes work for national players such as Intuit, AlphaGraphics, and IBM.
